Born in Volos, Greece, in 1938, I started painting around age 17 but gave it up for a number of years while working at a wide variety of jobs including Travel Guide, leading groups all around the world.
I took up the brushes and chisels again in the early 1980s as a way to express feelings of progress in my search for my personal identity in relation to the modern world while honoring the latent aspects of my inherited identity as a Greek.
The marriage of these two worlds is the major inspiration for my work.
Some of these pieces are for sale. For further information, contact me.
